What is story writing?
A Story is basically a narration of real or imaginary events, involving real or imaginary people.it is generally designed to entertain, and/or send message across.
You may have a great funny story but no idea where to
start. you need an idea of where you’re going.
- Where do you begin?
- What’s the middle supposed to look like?
- How do you craft a resounding ending?
Simply You need a basic story structure.
I.
What Is Story Structure?
The structure is The order in which you tell your story , it determines how
effectively you create fun, all designed to grab readers from the start and
keep them to the end.

Structure Elements :
Funny story structures include some variation of:
1. Title: a good title should be interesting. It
should attract the reader's attention. At the very least, it should be
appropriate to the rest of the piece.
2. Beginning/ an opener: Start with who your story is about and
establish the problem, challenge, quest, journey, or dilemma he faces. Your goal here is to get your reader
invested in the main character and what he must accomplish.
3. Characters: Write Funny Characters That Make People Laugh. Your main character is the protagonist,
also known as the lead or hero/heroine.
4. Plot: Plot is the sequence of events that make up a story. It
is what happens in a story. A theme is why it happens—which you need to
know while you’re writing the plot. So, before you even begin writing,
determine why you want to tell this story.
What message do you wish to convey?
5. A funny Incident that Changes Everything: It’s one thing to render a character funny,
But get to the catalyst that forces him to act. Think of the humorist possible
result and have your lead character spend the rest of the story battling to
prevent it.
6. Climax: Don’t mistake the Climax for the End. This is where
your character appears to have fatally failed and everything appears hopeless.
7. Conclusion/ a resolution: The resolution concludes your story. Your
main character must succeed or fail, This is also where you tie up loose ends
and satisfy your reader, while at the same time leaving him wanting more.
Sample: "A funny incident during the quarantine"
very nice funny story
